DISNEY CHANNEL
Set Structure Designer · Media & Entertainment
Duration: 2007

Disney Channel required a functional and engaging set environment for its hit television series Quelli dell’Intervallo (which notably became the first Italian Disney sitcom to be successfully exported globally). Operating as Set Structure Designer and Creative Business Consultant, Michele Ardoni entirely conceived and developed a fully modular kiosk, following the strict stylistic direction provided by the international production team.
Set Architecture & Storytelling He designed and constructed functional educational environments that served a dual purpose as filming locations and interactive learning spaces.
By blending structural innovation with practical functionality, the kiosk successfully enhanced both the storytelling and the visual appeal of the show, rapidly becoming a central element of the series.
Production Management & Brand Alignment He coordinated seamlessly with international Disney production teams, ensuring strict adherence to global brand standards and family-friendly educational values while accommodating local Italian creative requirements.
He successfully balanced artistic vision with operational efficiency and television budget constraints, delivering the project on time.
Media Industry Insight Through this engagement, he gained valuable understanding of content production workflows, talent management, and broadcast industry dynamics.
Result & Cross-Industry Innovation The project successfully bridged the entertainment and educational sectors, demonstrating his versatility beyond traditional foodservice consulting.
Crucially, this collaboration reinforced modular set design and storytelling principles that Michele Ardoni later translated into highly immersive, scalable foodservice environments for theme parks and branded QSR experiences.
