Cremonini Group: Street Food Format with Montana

Starting in 2009, in collaboration with Montana, a brand under the Cremonini Group specializing in high-quality beef and processed meat products, I spearheaded the development of the Area Spanino format through my company, Area Consumer. This project was designed as a franchising or licensing model aimed at supporting temporary dining solutions, such as food trucks and beachside eateries, while ensuring the continuous distribution of Montana-branded products.   bc-PUBBLICITA_SPIAGGE_APRILE2009_AREACONSUMER@REV2011 Gruppo-Cremonini-Brand-Montana volantino promo areaspanino esecutivo The format included the supply of equipment for cooking and, in some cases, product storage, as well as the provision of ready-to-regenerate products such as sandwiches and cured meats. This innovative approach catered specifically to street and temporary food operators, streamlining operations and ensuring product consistency. The project achieved significant success, leading to the establishment of approximately 80 new outlets within three years. My role encompassed the conceptualization, strategic development, and operational oversight of the format, ensuring its scalability and adaptability to various foodservice environments. Montana, part of the Cremonini Group, is renowned for its leadership in beef production and processed meat products across Europe. This collaboration not only highlighted my expertise in developing innovative foodservice concepts but also reinforced Montana’s position in the dynamic market of temporary and mobile dining solutions. Coca Cola: Design & development format for sport arena

052 chiosco_prosp_1 039 068 082 084 IMG_1552 IMG_1556 IMG_1561 Load More End of Content. In 2008, following a challenging brief commissioned by Coca-Cola Italia, I developed and conceptualized a revolutionary modular system that addressed their need for sustainable and efficient kiosks for food and beverage service. The brief had previously failed to elicit viable solutions from prominent architecture and design firms. Within just two weeks, I delivered a comprehensive concept that surpassed Coca-Cola’s expectations, transitioning the project from a single-unit plan to the creation of five innovative kiosks at the San Siro Stadium in Milan. Key Features and Innovations: 1.Sustainability and Modular Design: •The kiosks were eco-friendly, requiring no concrete foundations. This eliminated environmental impact during installation and provided significant cost savings. •Designed to be self-supporting and adaptable to various terrains, the structures could be relocated easily if the initial location proved unsuitable. 2.Advanced Engineering: •Built with recyclable materials, including galvanized steel and PVC, the kiosks were resistant to seismic events, extreme weather conditions, and vandalism. •The modular system allowed for rapid assembly, transforming the approach to temporary and semi-permanent structures. 3.Aesthetic Innovation: •The kiosks featured a fully customizable design, with graphics covering all six sides, including the roof. This approach elevated the visual identity of the structures, aligning them with Coca-Cola’s branding goals. 4.Operational Efficiency: •The design accounted for the optimization of customer flows and operational workflows, enhancing both the user experience and staff efficiency. My Role: As the project leader, I managed every aspect of the initiative: •Conceptualization and Design: Developed the MontaSmonta system from scratch, aligning it with Coca-Cola’s sustainability and operational requirements. •Project Management: Directed the prototyping, manufacturing, and deployment of the kiosks, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to tight deadlines. •Innovation and Scalability: Created a scalable system that could be adapted for various sectors and replicated for other clients. Birth of Area Consumer and the MontaSmonta System: This successful collaboration with Coca-Cola laid the foundation for Area Consumer, the company I established to further develop and commercialize the MontaSmonta system. The system quickly gained traction and positioned Area Consumer as a leader in the kiosk sector within a few years. Further Success and Applications: The MontaSmonta system became a benchmark for modular construction and was subsequently applied to high-profile projects, including: •Disney Channel: Custom modular structures for TV productions. •Gazzetta dello Sport – Giro d’Italia: Mobile and temporary structures for sporting events. •Unilever (Algida and Carte d’Or): Innovative kiosks for ice cream sales. •Public and Private Projects: Implemented across Italy and internationally in France, Spain, Serbia, Slovenia, and beyond. The success of the MontaSmonta system highlighted my ability to merge sustainability, design innovation, and operational excellence, establishing a new standard in the modular construction industry. Oscartielle spa: Production Offshoring Development

In 2001, I held the position of Country Manager for OSCARTIELLE EST EUROPA, based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. My primary responsibility was to establish and manage operations for the production and distribution of plug-in refrigeration counters. These units were designed to connect directly to the electrical network of independent retailers across Eastern Europe, starting with Romania, without the need for remote refrigeration systems. Key Objectives and Achievements: 1.Development of a Local Supply Chain: •Upon starting operations, it became clear that the Romanian market lacked suppliers capable of handling key manufacturing processes, such as: •Sheet metal bending. •Electronic control systems for refrigeration units. •Thermoformed polyurethane side panels for the counters. •I successfully identified, negotiated, and built a reliable network of local subcontractors capable of meeting OSCARTIELLE’s production needs, ensuring high-quality standards. 2.Distributor Network Creation: •I developed a comprehensive network of distributors across Romania, tasked with selling OSCARTIELLE refrigeration units and providing after-sales support to retailers. •Established service points to assist independent stores and ensure long-term customer satisfaction. 3.Pricing and Policy Framework: •Defined pricing strategies and commercial policies tailored to the Romanian market to improve competitiveness and profitability. 4.Localized Production: •Facilitated the local manufacturing of refrigeration units, including adapting product designs to align with the technological capabilities of Romanian suppliers. This ensured cost-effectiveness and scalability for the Eastern European market. 5.Operational Excellence: •Oversaw the operational setup of the Cluj-Napoca plant, managing all aspects of production and logistics. •Supported the company’s integration into the local market by aligning strategies with the specific demands of Eastern European retailers. Results: •The rapid success of this initiative led to a significant increase in production and sales, earning OSCARTIELLE recognition from Italian media such as Il Sole 24 Ore and industry organizations like Confindustria, which highlighted the project’s innovative approach and its role in strengthening economic ties with Romania. Italbaby India: first importer of Childhood items

In 1999, I established Italbaby India Private Limited in New Delhi on behalf of foreign investors, at a time when India had not yet joined the global free market (WTO). This posed significant challenges for international trade, particularly in the importation of finished consumer goods. At that time, importing large quantities of ready-to-sell baby care products—such as strollers, car seats, pacifiers, and feeding bottles—was virtually impossible without incurring exorbitant tariffs, which reached up to 98%. To overcome this restriction, I developed an original and highly adaptive business model that allowed the company to operate efficiently under these constraints. Instead of importing fully assembled products, we imported key components and carried out local assembly, significantly reducing the applicable duties, though they still remained high, averaging around 80%. Given the elevated costs of these products due to import duties, I also pioneered an innovative retail distribution strategy, one that closely resembled modern franchising. This approach enabled Italbaby India to rapidly scale within just two years, establishing a nationwide distribution network, marking the first large-scale introduction of premium Italian baby products in India. The company successfully secured a presence in several key Indian states, bringing high-quality European childcare products to a market that had previously lacked such offerings. This strategic adaptation and rapid success led to significant media recognition, with Italbaby India and my work being featured in two of India’s most influential newspapers, the Hindustan Times and the Times of India, underscoring the impact of this pioneering venture in the Indian retail sector.
