Responsibilities included evaluating and selecting real estate opportunities, analyzing the competitive landscape, and establishing a supply chain network to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This experience blended strategic foresight with practical implementation, resulting in a comprehensive project plan ready for execution. The brand subsequently expanded to over 170 locations across 100+ Italian cities, employing 700+ staff. External Strategic Advisory Role (2019–Present)Michele Ardoni has served as external business partner and strategic advisor since 2019, when the chain operated 5 locations. Operating strictly in an advisory capacity—with strategic conceptualization and counsel rather than operational direction—his contributions focused on: Supply Chain Strategy — Conceptualized and advised on the architecture for a scalable supply chain infrastructure, providing the strategic framework that management subsequently evaluated and implemented to support multi-unit expansion. Industrial Process Optimization — Provided strategic guidance and recommendations for process optimization approaches during the launch phase of the company’s production facility, supporting management decisions on industrial standardization. M&A Advisory — Advised on evaluation criteria and negotiation strategies for domestic competitor acquisitions, offering strategic counsel as management executed the consolidation of selected targets within the Italian market. International Expansion Framework — Conceptualized the strategic approach and advised on the identification and structuring of the brand’s first international master franchise agreement for the Portuguese market, with final execution led by company ownership. Investor Relations Strategy — Provided ongoing strategic counsel on lobbying activities and investor interface strategies to enhance brand positioning and capital-raising opportunities.The engagement continues on an advisory basis for special operations, with decision-making and operational execution remaining exclusively under the direction of I Love Poke’s internal management and ownership. Taglio Milano: Business advisor

Taglio was a renowned establishment located at Via Vigevano 10, Milan, operating until 2020. It functioned as a bar, café, kitchen, gastronomy, and emporium, offering a diverse range of services to its patrons.  The venue was celebrated for its unique blend of Italian cuisine with an American flair, providing dishes that resonated with both locals and visitors. One of the highlights frequently mentioned by patrons was their exceptional tiramisu.  In my role, I was responsible for developing a project aimed at expanding the Taglio brand through licensing and franchising. However, the unforeseen COVID-19 pandemic led to government-mandated restaurant closures, which significantly impacted the hospitality industry. Algida: Design & Construction of Kiosks for entertainment parks

In 2011, I conceptualized, coordinated, and executed an innovative format for Algida gelaterias under Unilever, designed specifically for Italian amusement parks. The project involved creating a groundbreaking structure in the shape of a giant ice cream cup, which served as a visually striking centerpiece and fully functional gelateria. Key highlights of the project included: •Engineering Excellence: The structure was designed to be earthquake-resistant, vandal-proof, and built with sustainable, recyclable materials, ensuring minimal environmental impact and low demolition costs. •Rapid Execution: From concept to completion, the project was delivered in less than three months, showcasing my ability to manage tight deadlines without compromising on quality. •Scalability: The format was successfully replicated across multiple amusement parks in Italy, demonstrating its adaptability and operational efficiency. •Turnkey Delivery: I managed every aspect of the project, from conceptual design to construction coordination, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of fully operational units.
